This application note illustrates how to port an existing emWin BSP to another board, assembled with another type of MCU and another type of LCD. This guide shows step-by-step how to do this by porting the Embedded Artists’ EA1788 (with on-chip LCD controller) BSP to Keil’s MCB1700 (without on-chip LCD controller) board. |

LPCOpen Platform for NXP LPC MicrocontrollersThe LPCOpen platform provides software support for multiple NXP devices and is constantly being developed and improved. The LPCOpen platform is download in multiple parts. However, you only need the LPCOpen paltform code to get the core drivers and examples. The following are the main and optional components on the LPCOpen platform: |

IntroductionAccess NXP microcontroller software libraries all in one place. The LPCOpen Platform allows users to quickly and easily utilize NXP's extensive array of microcontroller software libraries to create and develop multifunctional products. The platform uses common APIs that work equally across all microcontroller families and can be built with Keil, IAR, and LPCXpresso (Eclipse-based tool from Code Red) tool chains. Detailed documentation and examples make it easy to integrate the necessary development tools into projects. |

Emcraft Systems has started shipping a low-cost ($99) LPC1788 eval board (LPC-LNX-EVB) immediatelly ready for U-Boot and uClinux. This is a USB-powered, 90mm x 100mm eval board that has on it an LPC1788 MCU, 32MB SDRAM, 16MB NOR Flash, an Ethernet interface and a number of expansion interfaces. The board comes pre-loaded with U-Boot and uClinux. Included with the eval kit is the Linux LPC1788 software distribution that supports both the Emcraft's LPC-LNX-EVB board and the Embedded Artists LPC1788-DEV-KIT board. Further details can be found here: |
