AN10338: Off-line Li-Ion battery charger with P89LPC916

Abstract
This application note describes how to use Philips 8-bit P89LPC916 in
designing an off-line Li-ion battery charger, with the characteristics of safe
charging, time efficiency and small package.
Using PWM and ADC, the P89LPC916 can accurately control different
charge phases, allowing the battery to become fully charged and to
prevent overcharging.
