DFU Utility - download and programming utility tool

The DFU Utility tool is a Windows PC tool that interfaces with the DFU boot capability of the LPC18xx/43xx devices for various support functions. The tool can be used for simple image deployment and execution via DFU boot or programming of the FLASH on supported LPC18xx/43xx devices or boards. Currently, the DFU Utility tool is only available for Windows machines. Prior to using the tool, you must install WinUSB and Microsoft .net. The WinUSB drivers for the LCP18xx/43xx devices using DFU boot are included with the WinUSB files released on LPCware.com.

DFU Utility raw/header mode

The DFU Utility raw/header mode allows downloading executable images via DFU/USB boot when the chip is reset. The raw/header mode is selected by the HDR/RAW modes tab on the DFUSec tabbed display. Select the DFU Utility download support option from the menu at the right to learn more.

DFU Utility program mode

The DFU Utility program mode allows programming of non-volatile memory via DFU/USB boot when the chip is reset. The program mode is selected by the program mode tab on the DFUSec tabbed display. Select the DFU Utility production programming support option from the menu at the right to learn more.
