The LPC11E00 microcontrollers are an ARM Cortex-M0 based, low-cost 32-bit MCU family, designed for 8/16-bit microcontroller applications, offering performance, low power, simple instruction set and memory addressing together with reduced code size compared to existing 8/16-bit architectures. Operating at CPU frequencies of up to 50 MHz., the peripheral complement of the LPC11E3x includes up to 128 kB of flash memory, up to 12 kB of SRAM data memory and 4 kB EEPROM, one Fast-mode Plus I²C-bus interface, one RS-485/EIA-485 USART with support for synchronous mode and smart card interface, two SSP interfaces, four general purpose counter/timers, a 10-bit ADC, and up to 54 general purpose I/O pins.
The new LPC11E6x devices adds a series of products rated for temperatures up to 105 degree C, giving designers wider choices when selecting MCUs required to run under harsh operating conditions like industrical, lighting, and automation applications. The LPC11E6x devices are available in three memory and package variations including up to 256 kB Flash, 36 kB RAM, and 4 kB EEPROM. With the exceptional power efficiency from the Cortex-M0+ core and NXP's power profiles, the LPC11E6x devices allow various power saving options depending upon the application demands. Additionally, the LPC11E6x peripherals contain two on-chip SCTimer/PWMs to support advanced timing features. This unique block can operate like most traditional timers, and includes a state machine to give programmers a higher degree of timing control and programmability.
